Hey everyone! I'm Chloe , and I'm so stoked to be tattooing here at The Empty Canvas . Growing up just about 40 minutes from the shop, in Glen Ullin, ND. with roots in both Native American  (MHA) and German heritage, art has always been a huge part of my life. I started taking art classes with an amazing artist Margaret Swift when I was super young, kept going through high school, and even got to visit incredible art museums all over the country – from New York to Denver, and even one in Germany! I absolutely love bringing lady faces and nature elements to life in my designs.

I got my first tattoo at 18 and I was hooked I spent my 20s waitressing, working in the government and getting my  entire leg  tattooed by various artists asking as many questions as I could before I finally  I started my apprenticeship at 30 years old in late February 2024 under Joko_nd, the owner of Altered Ink, who's been tattooing for nearly 30 years. I officially completed it in June 2025.  Every tattoo is a learning experience and I’m always looking to improve and will always do a touchup.  I still continue my education through in person seminars and online seminars. 

My favorite things to tattoo are lady faces  and nature elements like plants and birds .
