Art has always been a huge part of my life, but tattooing honestly wasn’t something I ever saw myself doing. For a long time it felt way too intimidating, and I never thought it was something I’d actually pursue. A couple years ago I finally decided to just take the jump, and I ended up falling in love with it!
As Matt’s apprentice at The Empty Canvas, I’ve spent the last year and a half building strong fundamentals. All while exploring a variety of styles to figure out where i fit best as an artist. I’m especially drawn to both extremems of the tattoo spectrum - from bold American Traditional, to ultra feminine florals and ornamental pieces. I really enjoy experementing with a little bit of everything in between while I continue to develop my style.
My biggest goal as an artist is creating an enviroment where everyone feels comfortable in my chair. I care just as much about the expierence as I do the tattoo itself. I was every appointment to feel relaxed, judgment-free, and like you can show up exactly as you are.
Outside of tattooing, life mostly revolves around my boyfriend Trenton, our daughter Aubrie, and our two dogs - so when I’m not at the shop, I’m probably chasing around a five year old ;)
